Last day to submit nomination(s):
As your Member of Provincial Parliament, I have seen how these difficult times brought out the incredible resiliency, compassion and strength of our community.
From Anisha O'Brien who crocheted over 100 scarves for the homeless to Annie Mazmanian a frontline nurse passionate about improving working conditions of healthcare workers. From Natasha Bell who founded the Blackowned905 movement to help local BIPOC businesses to Doug Rapelje who has been a life-long advocate for making Welland an age-friendly community. I was honoured to present the 2021 Niagara Centre Community Advocate Award to each of these individuals for their outstanding efforts.
